Black Country Museum Visit

On Monday 6th July, Year 7 enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to the Black Country Living Museum, where they stepped back in time to explore what life was like during the Industrial Revolution.

Throughout the day, pupils took part in three guided tours, exploring the museum's historic streets, homes, shops and workplaces while learning about the history of the Black Country. They asked thoughtful questions, engaged brilliantly with the guides and showed great curiosity as they discovered how people lived, worked and went to school in the past.

The glorious sunshine made the experience even more enjoyable, allowing pupils to make the most of the museum's unique surroundings, including its historic buildings, canals and vintage vehicles.

The visit was an excellent opportunity to bring history to life beyond the classroom and helped pupils develop a greater appreciation of the region's rich heritage. A huge thank you to all the staff who supported the trip and to our Year 7 pupils, whose excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and engagement made the day such a success.
